Ingredients
- 115 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 65 g cocoa powder
- 75 g flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1–2 tbsp very strong brewed coffee (cooled)
- Optional: chocolate chips, walnuts

Method
- Heat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line pan.
- Melt butter, whisk in sugar, then eggs and vanilla.
- Whisk in cocoa, salt, flour.
- Stir in strong coffee (and chips/nuts if using).
- Bake 22–28 min until set at edges, slightly soft in the center. Cool before slicing.
